Your brief in undertaking this exciting opportunity is to provide specialist technical advice to ensure best practice environmental management is delivered on this key infrastructure project.
Day to day, you will :
- Develop and implement environmental management systems policies, standards and procedures consistent to the organisations HSSE Management Systems and the ISO 14001.
- Undertake environmental compliance and other auditing activities.
- Provide support/ assistance to all staff to understand the aims and objectives of the EMS, including EMS training
- Identify opportunities to advance environmental awareness and innovation across the organisation.
You will work closely with project managers and supervisors, ensuring the environmental implications of engineering and construction practices are top of mind. An astute communicator, you are able to manage the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
